Book Review / Run Rose Run by James Patterson and Dolly Parton

From America’s most beloved superstar and its greatest storyteller—a thriller about a young singer/songwriter on the rise and on the run, and determined to do whatever it takes to survive.

Every song tells a story.
She’s a star on the rise, singing about the hard life behind her.
She’s also on the run. Find a future, lose a past.

Nashville is where she’s come to claim her destiny. It’s also where the darkness she’s fled might find her. And destroy her.

Run, Rose, Run is a novel glittering with danger and desire—a story that only America’s #1 most beloved entertainer and its #1 bestselling author could have created.

MY REVIEW

What I liked about this story...  This was such a fun read.  I've always been an American country music fan and, of course, I love reading so to merge the two made this book a really exciting story to read.  The best part of this for me was following the main character, learning about her past and seeing how she deals with that and what she is trying to achieve in the present day.

What I didn't like about this story...  There were no surprises in this story for me.  I would have loved to have been surprised by a few twists and turns, but I had already anticipated them.

Would I recommend...   This is a fun thriller that I would recommend.
