Sixteen-year-old
Trinity Monsour wants nothing more than to live a normal life. But that
isn’t as easy as it seems. Trinity is different. She is special. She sees visions, and for those she’s seen, it’s already too late.
Trinity
arrives on her aunt’s doorstep in New Orleans with virtually no
knowledge of her mysterious heritage. She begins settling into life at a
new school and even starts making friends. But all too quickly her
dreams accelerate; twisted, terrifying visions of a girl locked in a
dark room. And when the head cheerleader, Jessica, goes missing, Trinity
knows she has no choice but to step forward with what she’s seen.
But
people believe that Trinity has information about Jessica’s
disappearance not because of a dream, but because she is involved. She is kind-of dating Jessica’s ex-boyfriend, Chase, and Jessica did pull a nasty prank on Trinity. Revenge seems like the likeliest scenario.
Nothing
prepares Trinity for the dark odyssey that ensues while searching for
Jessica, including the surprising romance she finds with Chase, or the
shocking truths she learns, not just about the girl who has gone
missing, but the past that has been hidden from her.

My Review
10 out of 10
This is fast becoming one of my most favourite YA series of all time. I absolutely love the main character Trinity and her kick ass attitude of realising what is the right thing to do and doing it rather than going for the safest way or even not doing anything at all...
In this second book, we see another girl has gone missing and Trinity starts to have visions in her dreams and she has to quickly put the pieces together to find the girl before something bad happens. In this second book we learn a lot more about Trinity and her family and I am VERY keen to read the next book in the series, Fragile Darkness which looks like it is due out in November.
If you have not yet picked up this series, I would strongly recommend it... I'm hooked....

First off, what an amazing cover. I love the colours; purple and pink.... This would have to be one of my favourite covers for this year so far...
What I liked most about this book was all the secrets that had to be uncovered. When Trinity dreams that someone is going to get kidnapped and it actually happened, its a race against time to figure out who the kidnapper is and why. There's definately a lot of paranormal activty going on not to mention the fact that there is so much about her past that Trinity's family have been keeping from her.
Watching Trinity change from being normal and going about her daily routine in the usual way to someone who knows that she has a special power and trying to find out how to deal with it.
A really fun book with great suspense.
