Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer

Hey guys!  Sorry it has been a while since my last book review but this book completely got the better of me.  I have to say that this is the longest book I have ever read and although it was an exciting challenge, it did put me off reading it a bit.

Once I had eventually got stuck down to reading it, I was completely sucked into the story (parden the pun lol!) and although I thought some parts were very long winded I loved how the characters dealt with the different obstacles they came across.

The only thing that I was not so keen on and thought was a bit unrealistic was the child and its name...  What a silly name!

All in all, a very good book but a bit long winded!  I think this book would work better for me if it was split into two like the movie will be...  Feeling really sad now that I have come to the end of reading the Twilight series....

I'm Back and Twilight Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer Book Review

Hey guys!  Im back!  The move went well and we are sooooo happy now!  The area is really quiet and the people are really friendly here!  I am totally knackered from unpacking boxes and trying to decide for the five millionth time where something should go, like pictures!  The next job on my list for today will be to sort out all the many books that I have got and put them on shelves....  I am so excited about that...  I love organising my books....

I have managed to fit in a bit of reading but not a lot unfortunately.  I have managed to finish Twilight Eclipse and I loved it.  I loved the way Bella was torn between Edward and Jacob.  I also loved the way that the two sides, vampires and werewolves, worked together to defect the baddy...  I cried at the end, don't worry I will not give any spoilers away, but the emotions that Bella goes through definitely made me blub a bit!

I loved this book and would have to say that this is my favourite so far....  I have just looked at the size of the next book, Breaking Dawn... OMG..  Its nearly 700 pages!

 All I have to say is wow!  I loved this book.  The way this book is written it is so easy to pick up the story line from the very first word.  Having watched the movie first, I already knew what was going on.  I was so pleased that the movie story line had followed what the book said.

I have to confess that I am Team Jacob 100% and this story was by far the best of the Twilight books so far...  Watching the relationship between Bella and Jacob grow throughout the story was completely spellbinding.

Although the book had a very sad feeling to it, it was an amazing story from start to finish.

For a while now I have escaped 'Twilight fever', until last week when my sister lent me her DVDs of Twilight and New Moon.  My sister kept raving about it so I thought I would give it a go.  Watching Twilight, I was immediately hooked.  I could not look away.  For the entire length of the movie I was glued to my seat trying hard not to blink at the screen and miss anything.  Immediately after, I watched New Moon and loved that too. 

The very next day, I went and bought Twilight, the first book and I have now just finished it and it was amazing!  I was expecting the book to be different from the movie but, apart from some slight details changed and more description, it was practically the same. 

This book took me completely out of my comfort zone as I usually read chick-lit, romance, thriller type stories and certainly not ones that feature vampires but I loved it....
