Book Review - Lost Voices by Sarah Porter

When fourteen-year-old Luce is assaulted on the cliffs near an Alaskan village, she expects to die when she tumbles into the icy water below. Instead, she transforms into a mermaid. Luce is thrilled with her new life—until she discovers the catch.

That was a good review. I read this book a few months ago and reviewed it. I didn't enjoy it at all. You managed to get certain points across much better than I did, and yes, I found the book quite distressing too. I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to want to read the next in the series, although I think I'll be giving the next books a wide berth.
